Thanks to our extensive experience in Development and Maintenance Work for Distribution Networks and Electricity Transmission, Eiffage Energía has signed a major contract with one of the largest electricity distributors in Spain, Unión Fenosa Distribución.
The contract includes Medium and Low Voltage Development and Maintenance Works as well as Transformer Centres Management, all to ensure the proper supply of electricity in the area, and for which the central operations base in the town of Valdepeñaswill be established, along with the design of a second support base, which is expected to be installed in Tomelloso and Alcázar de San Juan.
From these strategic points the power distribution networks of Unión Fenosa Distribución at the following locations will be supplied: Alhambra (South), Almuradiel, Llanos del Caudillo, Manzanares, Membrilla, Moral de Calatrava, San Carlos del Valle, Santa Cruz de Mudela, Solana, Torrenueva, Valdepeñas, Viso del Marqués, Alhambra (North), Alcázar de San Juan, Arenales San Gregorio, Argamasilla de Alba, Campo de Criptana, Ossa de Montiel, Pedro Muñoz, Ruidera Socuéllamos, Tomelloso, Villarrobledo, Albaladejo, Alcubillas, Almedina, Bienservida, Carrizosa, Cózar, Fuenllana, Montiel, Puebla del Prince, Salibre Santa Cruz de los Cáñamos, Terrinches, Torre de Juan Abad, Villahermisa, Villamanrique, Villanueva de la Fuente, Villanueva de los Infantes and Villapalacios.
The start date of the works is scheduled for the third quarter of this year, although it is still early to foresee factors that could change it. To achieve it Eiffage Energía will count on its team of professionals highly experienced in this type of work, in particular the personnel from the Electrical Distribution Department in Albacete – Cuenca. Furthermore, the company personnel currently supplying service in Iberdrola’s framework contract in those provinces will be trained. Eiffage Energía’s Prevention, Vehicle, Purchasing, Quality, IT, Education, Human Resources and Training departments and the substitution of part of the works’ personnel that currently provide service for Unión Fenosa’s contract area will also collaborate.
Thanks to this contract with Unión Fenosa Distribución, Eiffage Energía strengthens its professional cooperation with major distributors in the country, such as Iberdrola, Endesa and EDP HC Energía, with whom it also works.
