The celebration of the 30th anniversary of Inelbo, subsidiary of Eiffage Energía, specialised in interior installations and electrical maintenance, took place last Friday, 19th May in Alicante. An event that was presided over by Arnaud Péretmère, CEO of Eiffage Énergie, parent company of Eiffage Energía.
In order to celebrate the company’s three decades, a number of activities were organised, including a photography contest on the history of Inelbo for the more than 120 employees of the workforce, whose prizes were given during the anniversary event, which was full of emotional moments, such as the homage given to the founders of the company, one of whom is already deceased.
The director of Inelbo, who also received an unexpected acknowledgement, had words of gratitude for all the employees “without whom we would not be here today”, recalling the history of the company, which dates back to 1987 when, along with three brothers and two other people, they decided to embark on an adventure to offer the service of assembly and maintenance of electrical installations to commercial and industrial areas of Alicante.
Twenty years later, in 2007, all this effort and dedication resulted in a leading company like Eiffage Energía wishing to incorporate Inelbo into their team. A fact that was mentioned by José Manuel Martínez, CEO of Eiffage Energía, highlighting that from Eiffage Energía’s view “we were sure that a company like Inelbo could contribute a lot to the Eiffage Group: it fulfilled the profile of an innovative company that we were looking for and it has proven it over time”.
Martínez congratulated Inelbo and especially its employees, saying “you are our most important asset. Without you, we could not celebrate our history.”
Finally, Eiffage Énergie’s CEO, Arnaud Péretmère, referred to the origin of Eiffage Energía in Spain, recalling that it dates back to 2003, when Eiffage Énergie began the acquisition of Spanish companies in the sector of electrical installations and Renewable Energies, EIFFAGE ENERGÍA being born in 2006 from the merger of all of them, and incorporating Inelbo only one year later, “so, from the beginning, our history is very united to that of Inelbo.”
Ludovic Duplan, director of Eiffage Énergie Europe, was also at the event, and attended the steering committee meeting of Eiffage Energía that was held that same day in Alicante, coinciding with the anniversary of Inelbo.

During the event, prizes were awarded for the photography contest organised to celebrate Inelbo´s 30 year anniversary, in which the company employees presented about 400 photographs.
The winners were: Juan Sanz, who won first prize; Daniel Sempere, who won the second prize, and Raquel Lerma in third position.
