AENOR-certificates reward the commitment to quality, environment and energy efficiency, improving the performance, development and competitiveness of a major Company such as Eiffage Energía.
Eiffage Energía has received new AENOR certificates at a ceremony held today in Paterna (Valencia), which had the presence of José Manuel Martínez, CEO of Eiffage Energía and Antonio Contreras, director of AENOR in Castilla – La Mancha, coinciding with the inauguration of Eiffage Energía’s new delegation at the Parque Tecnológico de Paterna (Valencia).
The Asociación Española de Normalización y Certificación (Spanish Association for Standardisation and Certification (AENOR)) rewards, on the one hand, the electro-medical area based in the Paterna office, with the Certificate for the Quality Management System according to the Standard UNE – EN ISO 9001:2015, which improves processes and eliminates ‘non-quality’ costs, committing to continuous improvement; the Certificate for the Environmental Management System UNE-EN ISO 14001 which helps to prevent environmental impacts and the Certificate for the Quality Management System for Health Products according to the Standard UNE-EN ISO 13485 which facilitates compliance with the legal requirements and guarantees the principles of safety, functionality and quality of health products.
On the other hand, the area of comprehensive maintenance has obtained the Certificate for the Energy Management System according to the Standard UNE-EN ISO 50001 for helping to reduce energy consumption, the associated financial costs and greenhouse gas emissions in the certified offices of Albacete, Alcalá de Henares in Madrid and Quart de Poblet in Valencia.
In turn, other certifications have also been renovated and adapted such as the Standard UNE EN ISO 9001:2015 and UNE EN ISO 14001:2015, which together with those already obtained improve development material and sustainability and support the Eiffage Energía’s commitment to environmental and energy sustainable development.
In this way, Eiffage Biomedical receives official and public recognition of its ability to provide services for maintenance of electro-medical equipment in more than 160 hospitals, clinics and medical centres and more than 240 health and speciality centres. Furthermore, with the implementation of this new area nationwide, it is expected to improve growth prospects for next year.
