In less than a month, Eiffage Energía has made two deliveries of cars within its program to renew and expand its fleet of vehicles. First, Volkswagen Passat and Golf models were delivered to the Company’s regional managers and head office executives, and now, the second delivery was made at the Renault dealership in Albacete.
In the presence of José Manuel Martínez, Director-General of Eiffage Energía this second batch of Renault cars was delivered to the site managers.
In total, around a hundred Renault Captur cars were delivered, a figure that will grow monthly under the 3-year renting agreement. This progress reflects the modernization of the current fleet of vehicles that Eiffage Energía has carried out throughout this year.
Despite being a range of family cars with modest specifications, the Renault Captur is an SUV with all the latest safety features (ABS, ESP stability control, tire pressure monitor, emergency braking assistance and seatbelt warning). It also includes other passive safety features such as fog lamps, cruise control and Isofix fittings.
This diesel version, with 5 doors and 90 HP, comes with the Life Energy ECO trim. It also as the added distinction of a 5-star rating under the Euro NCAP safety program, the maximum crash-test score awarded by the European consortium.
With regard to emissions, all the Renault Captur units delivered have ECO driving mode and the Start & Stop system, that allows for lower consumption and the consequent reduction in air pollution. This set of features fits in with the energy efficiency criteria adopted by the Eiffage Energía group to achieve its targets of energy efficiency and environmental conservation.
