“A clear commitment from our leaders for a model of renewable electricity consumption”. With this phrase, José Manuel Martínez, CEO of Eiffage Energía talks about the understanding between leaders and renewable energies on the website “Energía of Castilla-La Mancha“.
As a benchmark in the Spanish and international markets, Eiffage Energía is specialised in the development and maintenance of power generation, transport, and distribution installations, wherever renewable energy sources may be. Within this field and focusing on the region of Castilla – La Mancha, the company develops its activity in the areas related to the energy sector, being the principal maintainers of the electrical infrastructures of Iberdrola and Uníon Fenosa, the two leading companies in the region.
Continuing in the region of Castilla-La Mancha, José Manuel Martínez also highlights the presence of Eiffage Energía in maintenance and operation of renewable (solar and photovoltaic) energy generation plants. The maintenance and operation of the photovoltaic plant “El Calaverón” or the comprehensive maintenance of the network of Globalcaja offices are some examples of the activities that Eiffage Energía carries out or has carried out in the region.
In addition, Eiffage Energía is known for its specialisation in the development of turnkey projects, starting from the development and the construction of power generation projects to the construction of transport and distribution lines, substations, primarily in photovoltaic and wind energy.
Photovoltaic and wind energy are of particular importance in Castilla-La Mancha. And, although it is difficult to predict when 100% consumption of renewable electricity will be reached, great strides are being made in storage systems and intelligent management of networks. In this ecological niche and with this model is where leaders must make strong commitments.
