Conscytec, a subsidiary of Eiffage Energía, is Eiffage’s construction company in Spain.
Last Friday, 21 December, at a ceremony presided over by its new director since September of this year 2018, Asensio V. Rodríguez, accompanied by José Manuel Martínez, CEO of Eiffage Energía, Conscytec presented its strategic plan for up to 2020. During the event, held at the newly completed premises of the new head office of the group in Albacete and which was attended by the entire workforce, the end of financial year results and the new organisation of the various departments were presented and cases of success in recent years were analysed, among which, the recently delivered Office Building ‘City of Granada’ for Colonial in Barcelona should be highlighted.
Having experienced an extraordinary development in its turnover, going from 6 million in 2014 to close this year 2018 at 29 million and forecasting a figure of 35 million for next year 2019, the company defines in its Strategic Plan the lines of action to be carried out over the next two years. The action plan based on people, diversification and innovation, in a continuous process of improvement, taking part in earlier phases of the ‘value curve’ of the projects, must help to achieve the objectives of both increasing turnover and improved profitability; and loyalty and expansion, through the trust of the current portfolio of clients and partners.
Conscytec has established itself as a benchmark company in the sector of construction of offices, shopping centres and private residences, in addition to maintaining its business lines for civil works in industry and energy, renewable and conventional, in which it already occupied a prominent place. In recent industry reports, Conscytec is among the top 100 construction companies in Spain, occupying the 78th position taking exports into account and the 47th position without taking into account the export figure.
