Eiffage Energía is the company which has been awarded the contract to carry out the HVAC, gas-oil, steam and solar installations for the refurbishment of the Benito Menni Health Complex in Ciempozuelos (Madrid), belonging to the Congregation of the Hermanas Hospitalarias del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús.
The project will be carried out over a constructed surface of 35,000 square metres and includes a new design of the Main Building, units of Mental Health, Day Centre, Home for the Elderly and Communal Services, with the capacity for 495 residents’ beds. A forefront project friendly towards the residents and the surroundings, as well as respecting the environment.
A heat production of 2800 kw will be installed with natural gas condensing boilers for central heating, and 1000 kw in mixed burner boilers for hot water for sanitary use production, supported by a solar installation of 150 vacuum tube panels.
The generation of cooling will be divided between two cooling centres, having a total of 850 kw in four highly efficient and extra quiet air condensing chillers. The air conditioning will be by four tube single zone and highly efficient filtration air handling units.
The project will be developed over the space of a year and a half, with a budget of nearly 5 million euros and will consolidate Eiffage Energía’s positioning in the mechanical and electrical installations sector in unique building, in continuous challenge for projects with maximum energy efficiency, always keeping to the highest standards of quality and safety of the Eiffage Energía Group.
