Eiffage Energía’s experience in High Voltage Lines has made this company one of the most specialised at national and international level, with the ability to face comprehensive High Voltage projects of any size and technical difficulty anywhere in the world, actively participating in international markets with projects in countries such as Poland, Brazil, Chile or Portugal.
To this end, Eiffage Energía has a large workforce of professionals and technical resources which guarantee the highest quality in the work that the company carries out in this field.
As an example, the electrical infrastructure of the largest photovoltaic solar plant in Spain and Europe, the Mula photovoltaic solar plant, located in the Region of Murcia, whose works are already completed, should be highlighted.
This plant, with a capacity of 500 MW, occupies an area of almost 1,000 hectares and will produce more than 750 million kWh annually, an amount of energy sufficient to supply a city the size of the capital of Murcia.
It is a service that Eiffage Energía offers within the Electrical Infrastructure department, from where work is also coordinated in Substations, Medium and Low Voltage Lines and Public Lighting.
In this respect, it should be highlighted that the company is also a benchmark in the construction of Substations at national and international level, being a guarantee of success and professionalism in the completion and start up of any comprehensive project: engineering, supply, construction, operation and maintenance.
Eiffage Energía currently has more than 50 implemented substations and 2,400 MVAs in different voltages and types from 45 KV to 400 KV. The company is involved in construction, expansion, modification and electromechanical assembly projects at 15 different substations.
An example in this area is the implementation of the works and the maintenance of the self-transformation and energy remote control centres of the Pedralba-Orense section of the Madrid-Galicia AVE which has been recently awarded.
In the case of Medium and Low Voltage Lines, Eiffage Energía develops projects for the electrification of industrial and residential (urban and rural) areas, being one of the main companies in this type of infrastructure, both through its experience and the technical means at its disposal, which allows it to provide a comprehensive 360º service.
One of the first activities of the group was the participation in many projects to improve the electrification in rural areas. In recent years, the company has taken part in the developed of millions of square metres of industrial estates and residential areas.
Throughout its history, the installation and maintenance of public lighting, mainly urban, has also been very important for Eiffage Energía.

In recent years, the company has actively participated in this area, providing technical support, covering economic, safety, aesthetic needs and implementing works in numerous towns.
Among recent works the renovation of public lighting in Albacete Capital and Industrial Estates, where more than 21,000 conventional light points have been replaced by LED technology and more than 200 control centres with a modern remote management system, should be highlighted.
