A benchmark company in Equality. The Campollano Business Association, ADECA, has given Eiffage Energía the award ‘For an Equal Company’. This seal recognises the work of companies committed to promoting real equality in business.
Equality benchmark company
An initiative that promotes the strategic commitment of companies to equal opportunities; and recognises and enhances the value and role of women in business and society. Victoria Guerrero, Human Resources Director of Eiffage Energía, collected this award.
Third Equality Plan in the Group
With the participation of the UGT, CCOO and ELA trade unions, at Eiffage Energía we have achieved our main objective: integrating equality into the company’s culture, improving the work environment. Thus, we now have the Group’s third Equality Plan in nine years. The diagnostics have made it possible to know where we were and to determine the action plan in moving ahead. We guarantee that women and men have equal opportunities in access to participation and permanence in all company management practices. We create an internal culture of equality. Within the organisation we train and create change agents so that the employees themselves can be drivers of significant changes in their daily work.
“Companies and Entities of Castilla la Mancha for a society without violence against women”
In addition, Eiffage Energía is part of the initiative “Companies and Entities of Castilla la Mancha for a society without violence against women”. This action was carried out through an agreement signed with the Women’s Institute. This agreement is part of a programme that includes the awareness and collaboration of socio-economic agents for the dissemination of campaigns on gender violence and for the job placement of unemployed women who are victims of this violence. Eiffage Energía is one of the five companies in Albacete that joined this programme for the development of actions for social awareness and gender equality. The commission set up by the JCCM and headed by the provincial director of the Women’s Institute, works to raise awareness against gender violence.
