The CEO and Managing Director of Eiffage in Spain, José Manuel Martínez recently featured on the programme “La Brújula de Castilla-La Mancha” (The Compass of Castilla-La Mancha) on Onda Cero, where he assured listeners that the company “is going through a process of continuous evolution, offering comprehensive solutions to meet the demands of our customers”.
This is demonstrated by its change of trade name Eiffage Energía to Eiffage Energía Sistemas, “with the aim of accompanying our clients in the energy transition, through innovation, digitalisation, training and financial management, so that they are able to move forward in decarbonisation, energy efficiency and corporate reputation processes”, stated Martínez.
Sustainability, key to the evolution process
The CEO of Eiffage Energía Sistemas stressed that this evolution process revolves around sustainability, which sets the guidelines to be followed in all the company’s lines of business.
In this regard, he referred to sustainable mobility, where Eiffage Energía Sistemas is a leader in the installation and integration of electric vehicle charging infrastructure, as evidenced by over 1,500 charging stations installed throughout Spain; as well as green hydrogen, with the company recently joining the Castilla-La Mancha Hydrogen Cluster.
New photovoltaic plants and wind farms
José Manuel Martínez highlighted one of Eiffage Energía Sistemas’ latest projects in Castilla-La Mancha. It involves the commissioning of five photovoltaic plants and three wind farms in the province of Albacete, with a total of 400 MW.
