The Madrid Health Service has awarded us the contract for the integral maintenance of the thermal power station and the air conditioning facilities of the Ramón y Cajal University Hospital in Madrid for the next four years.
It is one of the four main hospitals in the Community of Madrid, known for excellence in healthcare. It has 1,200 beds and is located in the north of the Spanish capital.
Staff and services provided at the Ramón y Cajal Hospital
To provide this service, we will cover three shifts, from Monday to Sunday, with over 16 associated technicians. To cover all services with a 24-hour presence, 365 days a year.
The work consists of maintenance:
- • of all Production, Storage and Distribution equipment for the entire hospital, water for heating, cooling, sanitary hot water and steam for services and sterilisation.
- • integral routine, preventive and statutory-technical maintenance of the facilities of the two Speciality Centres, Healthcare Centres and Housing for the Elderly, belonging to this hospital.
- • Routine, Preventive and Statutory-Technical Maintenance of the Hospital’s Thermal Power Station.
Integral facilities maintenance
Eiffage Energía Sistema’s integral maintenance department has been active since 1981. The department has evolved over the years and improved its organisation, performing maintenance on over 15,000 buildings. This department currently has over 1,000 workers, including engineers, supervisors and maintenance managers.
It also has a call centre for receiving incident reports and a CMMS. This allows its customers to monitor the status of their facilities in real time, 24 hours/365 days a year.
