Newsletter. Our most recent newsletter focuses on the rebranding of our company; our experience in different areas of business, photovoltaic and wind power facilities; electrical installation projects; maintenance; and sustainable construction.
As 2022 draws to a close, we reflect on some of this year’s most notable projects that have represented an evolution of the company. This evolution is indicated by the addition of the word Sistemas (systems) to Eiffage Energía, with data that continue to position us as a market leader in our various lines of business: renewable energies and electrical infrastructure; installations; maintenance; electromedicine; construction; and control systems.
Thus, the newsletter highlights a number of noteworthy projects in the various areas of activity.
-More than 50 branches in Spain.
-Turnover of around €675M.
-A workforce of more than 4,800 employees.
Renewable energies
We are one of the companies that has built the most renewable facilities in Spain: 94 wind farms, with a total installed capacity of more than 3.5 GW, and 98 photovoltaic plants, with more than 3.2 GW of capacity.
In our newsletter, we highlight two renewable energy projects: the five photovoltaic plants built by Eiffage Energía Sistemas in Albacete for Elawan Energy, each with a capacity of 50 MWp. These plants will power around 122,000 homes, avoiding the emission of over 187,000 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere; and the “El Monte” Wind Farm built by Eiffage Energía Sistemas in Cuenca, with 104.5 MW.
We also highlight our new participation in the Castilla-La Mancha Hydrogen Cluster. This is a group of companies whose goal is to collaborate on the strategic development of hydrogen technology. We are working on a pilot project at our headquarters.
Electrical installations, maintenance and sustainable construction
This newsletter also features the signing of a contract with Adif to renew, in a joint venture with TELICE, the lighting in the tunnels of the Madrid-Seville AVE high speed railway line; integral maintenance of various installations of the Ramón y Cajal University Hospital in Madrid; several buildings with sustainable construction; the new building management system for Eiffage Energía’s headquarters, installed by our subsidiary @SGASolutions; and our leadership in the sustainable mobility sector, with the installation of over 1,5000 charging stations throughout Spain.
