Albacete marks the closure of the awareness campaign on workplace safety, run by Eiffage Energía Sistemas across various offices in Spain. The aim: to further reinforce our preventive culture.
Launched last year with the General Management and Territorial Management, the campaign targeted the company’s command chain, a crucial element in the company’s preventive structure.
Initially, sessions were held for the Area Directors and Delegates of each department. These were later extended to Group Leaders, Project Managers, and Supervisors.
Ultimately, the sessions managed to reach all levels of intermediate management. These sessions were all attended by Eiffage Energía Sistemas’ CEO, José Manuel Martínez; the Director of Networks and Installations, Domingo Molina Sánchez; and the Director of Health and Safety, Juan Pablo Valverde Romero.
Other actions
In line with our goal of achieving zero accidents, in January we also started using a new digital tool for drawing up preventive documentation. This tool aims to standardise and facilitate the work of all Prevention Technicians forming part of the Joint Prevention Service.
This will allow Risk Assessments, Work Procedures, Health and Safety Plans, etc., to be drawn up and shared among all the technical prevention staff.
EASY App
Moreover, it’s noteworthy that in 2023 we continued implementing the EASY App, developed by our parent company, Eiffage Énergie Systèmes. The app is designed for conducting safety inspections and subsequently handling any detected anomalies. Currently, it is implemented across 60% of Spanish territory.
Additionally, we have developed a mobile app for verifying the correct execution of work in the field. Through images captured by employees, it allows for the real-time and subsequent checking of possible deficiencies in work execution to be rectified immediately or at a later date.
This allows us to continue to improve our occupational accident statistics, with a positive evolution in this area as a result of reinforcing our preventive culture.
Data
We are therefore proud to highlight that, from 2015 to October 2023, the company’s Index of Accidents involving a leave of absence (LFCI) has decreased by 65.63%; the Severity Index (GI) by 35%; and the Total Frequency Index (TFI) by as much as 39.44%.
Regarding the performance of prevention tasks, emphasis should be placed on the following data:
- • Since 2019, the company has boosted its incident detection by 383.33%.
- • The number of good practices submitted has also increased by 166.67% since 2019.
- • From 2016 to date, Eiffage Energía Sistemas has increased the number of total inspections by 251.91%.
