The Mayor of Albacete, Manuel Serrano, and the President of the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha, Emiliano García Page, have agreed to give a decisive boost to the Albacete Aeronautical and Logistics Park (PALA) by carrying out improvement and upgrade works that will enhance this industrial area as a major hub for attracting investments. Page and Serrano have highlighted the “success” of the agreement reached by the two administrations and the urban development agent formed by the UTE Eiffage–Hermasan. This achievement, resulting from months of intense work and numerous meetings, will allow us to resolve the situation for the total and partial reception of the industrial estate. Consequently, this will streamline administrative procedures for the establishment of new companies in Albacete”.
Vital infrastructures for the establishment of new companies
The Mayor of Albacete and the President of the Regional Government emphasised that “these improvements will provide this industrial area with a series of vital infrastructures for the establishment of new companies, as well as actions that will speed up administrative procedures once the PALA is fully accepted”. Both stressed the “great commitment” of the UTE formed by Eiffage and Hermasan, “whose generosity and efforts to reach an understanding have allowed us to resolve the situation after many months of three-way negotiations between the City Council of Albacete, the Government of Castilla-La Mancha, and the urban development agent itself”.
