Eiffage Energía Sistemas is the company responsible for the construction and O&M of several solar parks for X-ELIO in Spain and their respective connection substations. This includes part of the Lorca Solar photovoltaic installation, with an installed capacity of 386 MWp, located in Zarcilla de Ramos, in the municipality of Lorca, Murcia province. The project also includes the electricity evacuation system. This facility will help to avoid the emission of around 148,328 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere during its first year. Additionally, this project will generate 748,000 MWh of 100% clean and sustainable energy during its first year and will supply power equivalent to the annual consumption of 215,000 homes.
CSF Cubillas photovoltaic plant
We are also building the 35 MW CSF Cubillas photovoltaic plant for X-ELIO in Albolote, 20 kilometres from Granada. This plant includes 56,212 modules of 620Wp and 625Wp, supplied by the client; 613 1V52 and 1V26 two-wire structures; and 93 string inverters. Additionally, the project includes the evacuation infrastructure. It will generate 71 GWh/year, which is equivalent to the annual energy consumption savings of 20,500 homes.
In both plants, Eiffage Energía Sistemas will also be responsible for Operation and Maintenance for a period of 20 years.
Other projects with X-ELIO
Eiffage Energía Sistemas has worked on the construction and O&M of several farms, and their respective connection substations, developed by X-ELIO in the southeast of Spain. Specifically, in the provinces of Albacete, Almería, and Murcia. These farms will be maintained by Eiffage Energía for 20 years and will prevent the emission of 221,510 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere each year.
These include the Torres de Cotillas, La Aljorra, Almansa, Carril, Parcas, La Pinilla, Turroneros I and Cadima photovoltaic plants, which total 311 MW and cover an area of 474 hectares, equivalent to 474 football fields.
More recently, emphasis should be placed on the X-Elio photovoltaic plant in the Valencian Community. It is called Turroneros II, in Jijona, Alicante. A plant that produces 65,325 MWh per year, avoiding the emission of 42,460 tonnes of CO2 per year and providing clean energy to more than 19,175 households.
