Eiffage Energía Sistemas will build the Pizana and Casilla PV plants in Seville, each with 50 MW of power, for Infrared Iberia Holdings, which has also awarded the company the contract for the construction of the elevator substation and the high-voltage evacuation power line.
The construction of the plants is an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) project, which includes everything from the preliminary design to the electrical and civil engineering design, covering 83 hectares in the case of Casilla and 82 hectares in the case of Pizana.
The PV installations have more than 71,000 modules and 2,300 structures each.
With a completion period of 15 months, this project reinforces our commitment to renewable energies and sustainable development in Andalusia. We are currently developing 9 projects in the region: 3 in Granada, 2 in Almeria, 1 in Huelva and 3 in Seville, working together with various promoters to promote the energy transition.
Energy evacuation infrastructures
In addition, Infrared Iberia Holdings has awarded Eiffage Energía Sistemas the contract for the execution of the evacuation of the two PV plants. The project includes a substation and 220kV overhead and underground high-voltage lines, with a completion period of 15 months. The scope of the project involves the construction of the “Casilla” 220/30 kV elevating substation; an overhead high voltage kV line of more than 3.4 km; and an underground high voltage 220 kV line.
