In line with its global sustainability and decarbonisation strategy, Eiffage Energía Sistemas has renewed its fleet with 700 ECO-labelled Renault hybrid vehicles, which were delivered today by the leasing operator Northgate Renting Flexible. The delivery took place at the headquarters of Eiffage Energía Sistemas and was attended by representatives from the three companies: José Manuel Martínez, CEO of Eiffage Energía Sistemas and delegate of Eiffage in Spain; Sébastien Guigues, general manager of Renault and Alpine in Spain; and Eduardo González de la Rocha, commercial and marketing director of Northgate. These hybrid and micro-hybrid vehicles not only improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact, but also meet the highest safety standards set by the European GSR2 (General Safety Regulation 2). As part of this renewal, models from Renault’s revamped range have been added, including the Renault Captur; Renault Symbioz; Renault Austral; Renault Rafale; and Dacia Duster. All these models are equipped with advanced driving assistance technologies, ensuring safer and more sustainable mobility.
Moving towards a cleaner and safer future
The new vehicles replace diesel models, optimising fuel consumption and reducing environmental impact through greater energy efficiency. In addition, their design incorporates advanced safety systems, such as autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection; lane departure warning; and driver attention alerts, measures that ensure greater protection for drivers and the environment.

These refurbished vehicles will serve the main cities and provinces where Eiffage Energía Sistemas operates nationwide, ensuring that its construction, maintenance and supervision activities are carried out with the lowest possible environmental impact and under the highest safety standards. This renovation is part of Eiffage Energía Sistemas’ decarbonisation plan, which aims to achieve a significant reduction in greenhouse gas emissions throughout its value chain, contributing to the care of the environment and the well-being of the communities where it operates.

Partnership agreement
This action is the result of the Eiffage Group’s new leasing contract awarded to the operator Northgate Renting Flexible. Under this partnership agreement, the leasing operator accompanies Eiffage Energía Sistemas on its path towards sustainable mobility in order to reduce the carbon footprint in the urban and interurban areas in which it operates, while also protecting the environment.
