Yesterday in Ciudad Real, on the occasion of its II edition, Castilla-La Mancha awarded the Business Achievemant Awards where Eiffage Energía collected its award to a Job Creation Company granted by the President of the region, Emiliano García-Page and Patricia Franco Jiménez, Regional Minister of Economy, Employment and Enterprises. An award aimed at all employees who are part of the Eiffage Energía Group and which makes us continue working along the lines of improvement and perseverance.
Among a total of 185 candidates, Eiffage Energyhas been one of the companies awarded for its job creation and the generation of projects both in the region and at national and international levels. A recognition that also praises the commitment of its 2,500 professionals working through more than 30 local offices in Spain, Chile, Mexico, Peru and Jamaica.
Receiving the Award to a Job Creation Company embodies one more reason to keep on working as till now. Enriching the work environment and increasing jobs is achieved thanks to a set of proposals that Eiffage Energía has put into motion throughout all these years.
Innovative programmes for job creation, agreements with the University of Castilla – La Mancha for student internships, participation in Employment Fairs with local entities and the UCLM, collaborating with academic institutions in R & D projects on programs of development and innovation in production processes such as the”4.0 Project” with the support of the Centre for Industrial and Technological Development (CDTI). In addition to collaborating with special employment centres such as AMIAB (association for people with disability of Albacete) and the ASLA Foundation (creating employment opportunities for people with intellectual disability).
Working along these lines of equal opportunities, the Eiffage Energía Group designs equality plans (where 50% of management posts are occupied by women) and safety campaigns of “zero accidents” to minimise the number of workplace accidents and to carry on the action of preventing occupational risks, which have been reduced by 80% in the last five years.
This Award to the Job Creation Company is recognition in the form of a tribute to Eiffage Energía, which will continue to work along these lines promoting actions which will generate new jobs with equal opportunities and from a business leadership which guarantees minimum risks in each work environment of all its business areas.
