Celebrating a birthday is a fact and, in this case, a confirmation of the good practice influenced by Eiffage Energía’s experience and commitment. In these fifteen years the company has evolved into a benchmark within the sector with more than 40 local offices and exceeding 3,100 employees in the workforce.
Eiffage Energía is much more than a company. With a specialisation in different business lines (electrical infrastructure, installations, maintenance, renewable energy, civil engineering, construction and electro-medicine) and eight subsidiaries worldwide, the company has become a national and international benchmark company with fifteen years of work behind it.
The celebration of the 15th anniversary took place at the Teatro Circo in Albacete and was chaired by José Manuel Martínez, CEO; Benoît de Ruffray, president and CEO of the Eiffage Group, and counted on the presence of Ludovic Duplan, international CEO of Eiffage Énergie Systèmes, one of the four branches of the Eiffage Group, on which Eiffage Energía depends.
During the event several personalities linked to the company took part. José Manuel Martínez, CEO of Eiffage Energía and host of the event, stressed the importance of the company’s workers in achieving its objectives, emphasising that they are the true essence of the company. Site managers, the president of the Eiffage Group and various heads of the Occupational Risk Prevention, Human Resources, Communication and Finance departments also took part.
Miguel Ángel Bernal, director of Eiffage Energía’s Joint Prevention Service, stressed the importance that occupational risk prevention has for the company, recalling that in recent years the number of workplace accidents has been reduced by 88%, despite having a substantial increase in its workforce.
And finally took the stage Victoria Guerrero, the director of Human Resources for Eiffage Energía to highlight the Top Talent program; Mª Angeles Castellanos, director of Communication, to explain the evolution of the department through the use of new tools and Lola Lasheras, director of Finance for Eiffage Energía, who highlighted the importance of the moment that the company is experiencing.
The more than 400 people who attended the event were also able to enjoy a talk given by Alberto Ayora Hirsch, one of the greatest experts that we have in our country in matters of safety, management and prevention of risk in mountains and another surprise such as the simulation of a workplace accident, the motivational talk by Mago More and the closing ceremony by the Theatre Group Yllana with their show ‘Brokers’.
