Eiffage Energía, in its Electro-medical division, which operates in the market through its trademark Biomedical, has just been awarded the certificates for its quality management systems UNE-EN ISO 9001: 2015 and environment UNE-EN ISO 14001: 2015, audited by AENOR, for the maintenance of medical electrical equipment that is carried out in public hospitals in the Valencian Community through the UTE (Temporary Union of Companies) Eiffage Energía-Electromedical and the UTE (Temporary Union of Companies) Eiffage Energía–Carestream Health Spain; in total they are 10 public hospitals with their corresponding health areas and associated centres.
It should be noted that Eiffage Energía already had certifications for its Quality and Environment Management Systems, as well as Quality Management of Health Products according to the UNE-EN ISO 13485: 2016 standard, implemented for the activities of “Management and maintenance of health equipment for electro-medical use”.
Likewise, the Integral Maintenance Area of Eiffage Energía has been awarded the AENOR certification for the Quality Management and Environmental Management Systems for comprehensive maintenance activities (conductive, preventive, corrective and predictive) of installations, equipment and infrastructure in the buildings of three Health Departments attached to the Department of Universal Health and Public Health of the Valencian Community, which include the Hospital Centres of Sagunto, Clínico-Malvarrosa and Orihuela, and their associated buildings.
With these new certifications, Eiffage Energía receives formal and public recognition of its capacity to provide comprehensive maintenance and electro medical equipment maintenance services in Health Centres, with a high degree of quality and compliance with the requirements of the regulatory authorities and their customers.
