Since 2007, Eiffage Energía, through its Inelbo subsidiary, has been working on the installations of Mercadona’s logistics centres, maintaining medium-voltage, low-voltage and special electrical installations. An essential service that continued to be provided during these days. Inelbo is currently working for Mercadona to install the logistics blocks at Parc Sagunt (Valencia), with a surface area of 70,000 m2 and a capacity of 15 MWA, and Vitoria, with a surface area of 70,000 m2 and a capacity of 18.5 MWA. In addition, it is installing the building for perishable and dry goods in Zaragoza, with a surface area of 29,000 m2 and a capacity of 8.75 MWA.
Mercadona Logistics Centres in operation
Among the completed facilities, it is worth mentioning the logistics blocks in Abrera (Barcelona), with a surface area of 95,000 m2 and a capacity of 30.7 MWA, a yardstickfor this type of facility; Ciempozuelos (Madrid), with a surface area of 90,000 m2 and a capacity of 35.5 MWA; Villadangos (León), with a surface area of 70,500 m2 and a capacity of 21.6 MWA; Guadix (Granada), with a surface area of 37,000 m2 and a capacity of 7.8 MWA; Povoa de Varzim, in Oporto (Portugal), with a surface area of 24,000 m2 and a capacity of 4.6 MWA, and the preservation and ripening plant in Villadangos (León), with a surface area of 10,000 m2 and a capacity of 1.6 MWA. In addition, the installations of the Colmena online logistics centres in Zona Franca (Barcelona), with a surface area of 12,000 m2 and a capacity of 1.2 MWA, and in Getafe (Madrid), with a surface area of 15,500 m2 and a power of 1.6 MWA, have also been completed. The Colmena online logistics centres are smaller logistics centres for attending to online sales. Mercadona has three of these centres, two of which were installed by Eiffage Energía through Inelbo.
Inelbo
Inelbo, based in Alicante, started its activity in 1987. It currently has a staff of more than 250 people and offices in the Valencian Community, Catalonia, Region of Murcia and Madrid.
