SGA Sun: Energy monitoring and control system

For the company Cosentino, we have developed a plant control system, commonly known as a Power Plant Controller (PPC). A production-level solution for the full control of photovoltaic facilities that takes into account production-specific requirements.
The system provides instantaneous access to equipment, alarms, and plant performance parameters, enabling management of the status of the facilities and anticipating any breakdowns and/or maintenance that may be required.
Full monitoring and control
For Cosentino, we have implemented a Power Plant Controller, an energy control system to regulate and control inverters, devices, and grid-connected equipment in solar photovoltaic power plants in order to meet specified set points and change grid parameters at the point of interconnection (POI). These set points and parameters can be communicated by site operators to the PPC either directly or, more commonly, via a SCADA system.
