During the months of May and June, Eiffage Energía Sistemas, in cooperation with the Provincial Office of the Department of Economy, Business and Employment, we are going to hold several Occupational Risk Prevention Awareness Seminars, aimed at our chain of command.
These seminars aim to improve the integration of occupational risk prevention in the company by raising the awareness of key figures in our organisation. The goal is to continue to maintain our high level of commitment to Health and Safety.
A chain of command that is aware of and committed to Occupational Risk Prevention is key to leading and promoting an effective preventive culture at all levels of the company.
Networks and Distribution Department
The first of these seminars took place on 9 May. It was attended by our CEO, José Manuel Martínez; the national director of Networks and Installations, Domingo Molina; as well as the chain of command of the Networks and Installations departments of the Eastern and Central Zones, and Catalonia.
The seminar was led by Nicolás Merino Azorí, the regional government’s provincial officer for Economy, Business and Employment, and Jesús Oliver Sánchez, head of the service.
“Safety, a personal value”
With the title “Safety, a personal value”, we analysed how to avoid accidents in the workplace, based on the applicable regulations.
How this is achieved and why the collaboration of the whole organisation in the implementation of Prevention Measures is necessary, are some of the questions that were answered during the session. This seminar also explained aspects of behaviour in relation to the integration of Occupational Risk Prevention; and the focus on safe behaviour.
Forthcoming sessions
The next sessions will be held on 18 May, with various representatives from the departments of High Voltage, our subsidiary Eiffage Conscytec, Maintenance, Electromedicine and Renewables. The final seminar will be on 27 June, which will be aimed at the Networks and Installations departments in the Southern Zone and our subsidiaries INELBO and EDS.
