Eiffage Énergie Systèmes organises a Safety Week each year. The aim is to involve all male and female employees in improving safety conditions in the works and services we provide.
Safety is a core value at Énergie Systèmes. It is a priority in our strategic plan, with the aim of achieving zero accidents.
To this end, as our Managing Director, José Manuel Martínez, explains, “we have taken into account our actions and the results obtained in order to adapt our commitment charter, our six key points (lockout/tagout, falls from height, personal protection, machines, vehicles or loads in motion, signs and tools) and to update our standards. Their proper implementation requires the involvement and mobilisation of each and every person who works in this company”.
Event aimed at Distribution and O&M operators of the Central Zone Networks
In order to publicise these new basic safety points, an event is being held today, 12 June, at the UCLM Multipurpose Building in Albacete, which will be attended by around 270 distribution and O&M operators from the Central Zone Networks of Eiffage Energía Sistemas. This activity is being carried out simultaneously at other branches, such as Alcalá de Henares and Leganés. More than 800 people went online in the morning.
The event was attended by Juan Pérez Pagán, director of Central Networks, the director of industrial maintenance, Francisco Javier Triguero Galán, and the CLM networks director, Juan Antonio Tébar Cortijo.
At the start of the event, a video with a safety message from Ludovic Duplan, International General Manager of Eiffage Énergie Systèmes, was shown to the 800 people in attendance.
The Strategic Safety Plan 2023 was also presented. There was also a series of group activities and a safety discussion entitled “YOUR SAFETY VIEWS MATTER” This was followed by the presentation “YOUR COMMITMENT IS REWARDED” Finally, Kahoot, prize-giving and closing of the day.
A company value
“I hope that this moment will be an opportunity for discussion, so that we are all aware of our prevention roles and responsibilities. Safety should no longer be something to be suffered or seen as a burden. It must become a corporate value that we all adopt, whatever our role”, says José Manuel Martínez.
