As every year, at Eiffage Energía Sistemas we celebrate our Safety Week. This year it will take place from 10 – 14 June.
The week started with the screening of this video by the International General Director, of Eiffage Énergie Systèmes, Ludovic Duplan, explaining the theme of this edition, which is related to correct work area and site preparation.
Strengthening our Preventive Culture
During these days, 100% of our staff will pause their activities to dedicate themselves exclusively to strengthening our Preventive Culture, a fundamental pillar of this organisation. This time, the main focus of Safety Week is the importance of correctly preparing work areas and sites. Not only regarding order and cleanliness, or the proper use of work and protection equipment, but also in relation to the knowledge of work procedures; authorisations required to carry out the work; pre-job analysis; tool box talks; adequate training and information to perform the work safely, etc.
New Occupational Risk Prevention apps
Taking advantage of the occasion, the new Occupational Risk Prevention apps will also be introduced to all staff. These tools are designed to facilitate risk analysis prior to each job and the reporting of anomalies and incidents. The largest events will be held in: Bilbao, Pamplona, Zaragoza, Jaén, Badajoz, San Boi de Llobregat, Tarragona, Murcia, Valencia, Alicante, Alcalá de Henares, and Albacete.
Safety Week will feature at all sites and/or work centres
Similarly, the message of Safety Week will reach all sites and/or work centres, regardless of their activity volume, and whether they are our own or third-party work centres. These events will not only be aimed at staff performing tasks on-site or at client company facilities, but also at our office staff.
Activities
Among the actions organised in the different departments, subsidiaries, and branches, there will be group activities for risk identification and preventive measures; training sessions on Prevention of Musculoskeletal Disorders for office and site staff; talks on behaviour-based safety; training sessions with a coach specialising in time management and productivity; presentation of the Back Strengthening Program using Fit-Ball; a talk on the safe use of ladders; Healthy Back School; and an analysis of significant accidents and incidents from 2023 and 2024.
The annual organisation of this Safety Week is further proof of Eiffage Energía Sistemas’ commitment to the health of all its workers, in pursuit of the goal of zero occupational accidents.
