Eiffage Energía Sistemas works to improve energy efficiency in prisons in Castile and Leon

Instituciones penitenciarias

Eiffage Energía Sistemas is carrying out works for the Sociedad Mercantil Estatal de Gestión Inmobiliaria de Patrimonio, SEGIPSA for the improvement of energy efficiency in several buildings in prisons in Castile and Leon.

This initiative, funded by the European Union-Next Generation EU, is part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.

To date, the exterior lighting has been renewed using LED technology in the Dueñas prison (Palencia). Currently, work continues in the Topas prison and in the “Dorado Montero” Social Integration Centre in Salamanca. The same improvements will soon be carried out in the Torredondo Prison and in the “José Antonio Oneca” Social Integration Centre, both in Segovia. Lot 8.

SEGIPSA has been awarded the Construction Management contract by the Ministry of the Interior, General Secretariat of Prisons (SGIP) for the aforementioned works.
