Energy improvement of the National Biotechnology Centre

The Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) has awarded Eiffage Energía the energy improvement of the National Centre for Biotechnology, in Madrid. The budget for this project amounts to about 900,000 euros. This is a project to improve the energy efficiency of all the buildings of the National Centre for Biotechnology of the CSIC. Installation process of three new water-condensed magnetic levitation chillers; new cooling towers; a new gas boiler; variable flow pumps; update of the centralised control system; and LED lighting in the corridors.
